Who Are We
Birmingham Multi-Care, a subsidiary of Midland Mencap, provides a range of care and support services to children, young people, adults and family carers across Birmingham.
Our services, for people with learning disabilities and associated circumstances, include home based care and support, short breaks and access to community based social, leisure and recreational day and evening opportunities for both children and adults.
Respite Care Service
We provide 8 accessible respite care beds in our two care homes in Erdington and Acocks Green. This is a Care Quality Commission regulated service offering high quality respite provision seven days a week.
Asha Community Project
This is a women only day opportunities service supporting women from the South East Asian community offering access to a wide range of community social, leisure and recreational activities promoting well-being and active lifestyles
A charge is made for this service, of £15.27 an hour or £91.62 per day
The service is available Monday to Friday
Family Carers
We can offer a comprehensive sign-posting service to Midland Mencap Family Care Support Team and to the Carers Emergency Response Service (CERS) for carers looking for information, advice or support in their caring role OR you can contact both teams directly at Midland Mencap on 0121 442 2944.
